Bar is extremely competitive and you have to stand out from the rest. You MUST achieve VERY COMPETENT in your Bar exams. Before you complete your BPTC/BPC you must do the below: –
1. Identify your area of practice and get yourself a paralegal job (PT/FT), it would be idea if the job involves some form of advocacy.
2. Complete atleast 2 mini-pupillages and 1 marshalling per year.
3. Participate in mooting competition.
4. Complete any professional qualifications if possible i.e Mediator, Police Station Reoresentative, OISC.
5. Apply for any scholarship opportunities you get.
6. Apply for pupillage early, dont wait until end of your Bar exams.
